The Dermocosmetic Assessment Facility, managed by the Cosmetic and Textile Innovations group, has passed the Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC) inspection for studies of biocides for percutaneous absorption, including the analytical determination of the test substance. This certificate complies with the principles of Good Laboratory Practices, as established by the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The facility already had two certificates: the Quality Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, certified by Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification (AENOR) in 2012, and another one for Good Laboratory Practices for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, which was achieved in 2019 by the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia.
