The head of the IQAC chemical library, Carles Martínez, visited during the past Tuesday, November 7th, to the Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis (ISQCH) in Zaragoza to present the project to the staff of the center in the capital of Aragon.
In a meeting with the main research leaders and the director of the institute, Martínez reported about the project, highlighting the potential of this CSIC institutional initiative, in addition to clarifying the doubts raised by the researchers.
The CSIC Chemical Library is an initiative emerged in 2021, in response to the pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2. Distributed among 3 CSIC institutes (IQAC, IIQ, and IQM), its main objective is to promote scientific collaboration among research groups of various fields, while also speeding up the discovery of molecules with new biological and/or therapeutic activities.
