El servei de SAXS-WAXS proporciona mesures amb una diversistat de sistemes de mesura per a la determinació estructural de materials amb ordre cristal·lí i semicristal·lí. El rang de distàncies d’interès se situa en el domini de la nanoescala (0.2-100 nm). Els materials inclouen solucions de tensioactiu, cristalls líquids, materials mesoporosos, microemulsions, proteïnes en solució, ADN en la solució i qualsevol tipus de material amb discontinuïtats electròniques en el rang esmentat .
