QUÍMICA DE SUPERFÍCIES

El principal objectiu del grup de Química de Superfícies és estudiar la formació i caracterització de nous sistemes (nano)estructurats, i avaluar les seves possibles aplicacions en nous processos tecnològics. El camp d’estudi són els sistemes amb presència d’interfícies, ja siguin dispersions líquides (emulsions, microgels, etc.), materials tous (hidrogels) o materials sòlids porosos (escumes sòlides). S’estudien tant sistemes líquids estructurats obtinguts per autoagregació molecular, com per processos de segregació molecular, i principalment en el rang de mida nanomètric.
